The Peale Center launched its $5 million capital campaign in 2014. To date, the Center has raised $2,376,000 towards the restoration of the building. The City of Baltimore begins work to replace the building’s roof in March 2017. Completion of the full restoration of the building is expected by 2020.

A worker stands on the roof of Peale Center, repairing the cupola.
A building that is 200+ years old demands careful attention. Workers restore the cupola on Rembrandt Peale’s original Baltimore Museum.
